Description

Located between the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas and Veracruz, this area represents one of the last tracts of jungle in Mexico. In Veracruz, the Uxpanapa is part of this jungle, a refuge of endangered species like the currasow, tapir and jaguar.

General Objective

To develop processes of conservation for the biodiversity and the sustainable development of the Uxpanapa and Selva Zoque area, which promotes the convergence of efforts by the government and the civil society.
